The Yahoo hosting service is perfect for Drupal websites of any size. But it is particularly suited to medium to large size Drupal sites, which are often resource intensive. Complex Drupal sites running lots of modules, delivering lots of media to lots of visitors require a powerful, modern, robust server. Whilst many hosting companies claim to offer this, Yahoo really do. Being such a large and technology aware company they have invested in their infrastructure and deliver a great hosting service for Drupal websites, and any other PHP based web system. If your website hits the front page of Digg, will your current host keep up? Yahoo will.
Yahoo are well known for a lot of online services, and they have been involved in web hosting for a long time. The Yahoo hosting service is well known to be very reliable and quick. Being such a big company they have access to excellent resources and personnel to ensure the Drupal hosting arm of their business runs smoothly.
Yahoo bought the Geocities hosting service many years ago. Geocities was very popular as it offered reliable, fast hosting for free. Small adverts were discreetly displayed on the hosted website, but the free nature of the service made it very popular the world over. Yahoo inherited Geocities wealth of experience and expertise in web hosting. Although Yahoo are not keen to offer a free hosting service, their paid service is perfect for Drupal, or any other PHP powered system such as Wordpress, ExpressionEngine and more.
All Yahoo hosting accounts have access to the website builder. Whilst this is a of little help to Drupal powered websites, it could be useful if you intend to run other websites from the account.
Other features include a photo gallery (obviously inspired by Flickr, which Yahoo also own), and an ecommerce website builder for an additional cost.

hi,
It works on yahoo hosting. i tried for my friend and all went well expect the clean urls.
Because yahoo won't accept .httaccess file while you upload. apart from that everything is fine.
I think we can ask the yahoo customer support to upload the .httaccess file.
